This is Dick's recording of the 2nd big aftershock today - originally registered at 6.9 and later downgraded to 6.7. Sudden motion sensors surrounding the hard drives in Macintosh computers are used to record the seismic motion of earthquakes.

One Week to Go

The house is rented and I've found nice homes for both our dog and cat for the year...that's the good news! The bad news...it seems as if we've been packing for days, but there is always so much more to do. We've gotten rid of lots of stuff, but we've decided that we will have to work equally hard for twice as long when we return to really get organized. SIMPLIFY, ORGANIZE, and then MAYBE we will be rewarded with RELAXATION. Thanks to all our friends for your support and well wishes.
